Is Ribbit Royale free?
Yes. The whole game is free to play, with every mode, map and weapon open to everyone. You can buy Ribbit Coins to get cosmetic items sooner, but cosmetics never change how strong your frog is.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Ribbit Royale runs in your web browser. Open ribbitroyale.com and press Play.
Which browsers and devices are supported?
The game works best in a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a computer with a mouse. It also runs on most modern phones and tablets with touch controls. Your browser needs WebGL turned on, which is the default almost everywhere. If the game runs slowly, lower the render resolution or turn off shadows in Settings.
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can play as a guest with a random knight name. Create a free account to choose your own name and save your level, stats, Ribbit Coins, cosmetics and battle pass rewards. You can sign up with an email address or a supported sign-in provider.
Does my progress save as a guest?
No. Guest matches are just for fun and do not save experience, coins or unlocks. Create an account to start saving.
How do I earn Ribbit Coins?
You earn a few coins for each match you finish, for wins, and for taking down real players. There is also a daily reward and the battle pass. Coins can also be bought in the shop.
What can I spend Ribbit Coins on?
Ribbit Coins buy cosmetic items in the shop: outfits, capes, crowns, trails and weapon paints. They are also used for Lilypads, which you spend on wishes in The Swamp for limited items, and for changing your knight name.
What is the battle pass?
The battle pass is a track of rewards you unlock by earning experience from playing. Each season has its own set of rewards. The free track is open to every account.
Can I play with my friends?
Yes. Add friends from the Friends button on the main menu, then invite them to your party. A party joins the same match and plays on the same team in team modes.
Are there bots?
Yes. Bots fill empty places so you never wait long for a match. As real players join, they take the bots' places. Taking down a bot gives experience but no coins.
How do I change my controls or sensitivity?
Press Esc during a match, or open Settings on the main menu. You can change every key, your mouse sensitivity, field of view, graphics and sound there. See How to play for the default controls.
How do I report a cheater or a rude player?
Email [email protected] with the player's name, the time and a screenshot if you have one. The game server checks movement and shots to catch cheats, and chat and names are filtered for swearing and slurs.
Is Ribbit Royale suitable for children?
The game has cartoon combat between frogs, with no blood or gore. It is not aimed at children under 13, and players under 13 should not create an account. Chat is filtered, and parents can read our privacy policy to see what data the game keeps.
Why do I see ads?
Ads help keep the game free. Ads are only shown on the main menu and in the shop, never during a match. Optional "watch an ad" rewards let you earn a few extra coins.
How do I delete my account?
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will delete it.
